ARTD 379 - Final Project - Multichannel
Visual snack built from simple iconic videos and images from around my home that are then interlaced via various visual effects available through Adobe Premier Pro. Audio is self composed using diegetic sounds as well as loops available in GarageBand. Concept was based on exploring the identification of faces in images. Note: This video is intended to be looped on two screens near to one another. Inspiration: Various works by Diana Thater

ARTD415 - Project 02 - Cut / Copy
This video is for the 2nd project of my ARTD415 (Video Art: Experimental Film) course taken this Spring term of the 2020 year. It is an exploration into and of existing material. The chosen material is all from television advertisements having run within the last ~3 months related to the Covid-19 pandemic. By using clips from many ads following a similar format in structure and topic, it is intended to provide the viewer with a broader image and perhaps overall appreciation versus seeing one of them on its own. By segmenting these ads and stitching them together into a longer conglomerate it also heightens the value of the 'gutter' between clips as well as the various components and context used in each segment (audio/music, images, the original transitions).

ARTD415 - P1 - Western Redux
Just a short vid that involved taking raw video/audio shots and editing them into something that I elected to have follow the original narrative. The content is from the television show Gunsmoke.

ARTD415 - Project 01 - Time Based Systems
For this particular project the systems/rules I employed are conceptual (in the content and its focus on preparing things as well as the anticipation build), visual guidelines (in how the clips align on visual and audio queues to create a rhythm), and process based (in that the videos are documentary in nature, following a linear path).

ARTD410 - Project 01 - Call and Response
This video is the documentation of a projection mapping exercise where I utilized a projector to inform on two different objects, each having their own channel and containing their own content. One of the key elements was to have the objects inform on the other and establish their relationship for the viewer. Technically there are nine different objects in the results, but 8 of them are identical in content projected with only variations in effects and timing to suggest growth/passing. I utilized Adobe Photoshop and After Effects to create the animation and complete projection content, as well as Garageband to compose the audio. This documentation video was composed using Adobe Premier Pro. All work is my own.

ARTD410 - Project 01 (Projection Mapping) - Documentation Video
My first considerable projection mapping project for the Interactive Spaces (ARTD410) course I am taking at the U of O. In this project I chose to go with documenting preparation of food; in this case pizza. I chose this topic due the amount of home cooking I am doing as a result of the virus pandemic. This video is the documentation of the resulting installation at my house. Although this video is less than 3 minutes long, the full product runs about 4:30 minutes, which of course is a shortened reflection of the ~3 hours it takes to me to make a pizza from scratch; dough included, baking, preparation of other ingredients, etc.

Custom Gaming PC Build
This is a personal gaming rig build. I chose a mini ITX/SFF case for multiple reasons; primarily transport-ability and to minimize desktop space footprint. Although convenient for those, construction was considerably more challenging given the tight spaces, especially cable management. I also had to create custom adapters to make use of the fan/argb hub built into the back of the case in conjunction with the connectors on the Corsair fans. This allowed me to connect them to the motherboard and utilize the built in ASUS Aura software.
